Zambia, a country known for its 24/7 power supply, faced an unprecedented challenge earlier in 2024 when the government announced indefinite load shedding, resulting in 8 hours of daily power outages. This unfamiliar experience means that most Zambian homes will be plunged into darkness, cutting off their usual source of entertainment – or perhaps not.
We launched the GOtv Stream app campaign in Zambia, a mobile app that ensures Zambians can continue enjoying their favorite shows and content from GOtv despite load shedding. We created communication materials with the message “Ise Sitimazimya,” which means “Always On,” assuring our customers that their fun and entertainment won’t be interrupted by power cuts.
